Brr baby, it's cold outside. It's time to deck the halls and ring those bells because Christmas is in the air.
Delaney Du Luca had typical fabulous Hollywood holiday plans that included the sun, sand and the warm waters of Cancun until her B-list actor boyfriend publicly dumps her. Instead of staying home to sulk, she decides to head back to her quaint hometown in Vermont for some much-needed rest, relaxation and of course, her favorite holiday cookies.
Aiden Fisher can't seem to catch a break. Still reeling from the loss of his wife, he's become the tail end of all the town's jokes when word spreads he's done the unthinkable; pulling over the town's sweetheart, never mind the fact she was speeding. With his one-time high school girlfriend, who's now a big time actress, back in town, everyone's focused on her. Meanwhile, he's just trying to keep his fan obsessed daughter in check and not get caught up in old memories.
With Santa's sleigh packed and ready to go, the only thing missing is the mistletoe.
Heidi is a New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author.
Originally from the Pacific Northwest, she now lives in picturesque Vermont, with her husband and two daughters. Also renting space in their home is an over-hyper Beagle/Jack Russell, Buttercup and a Highland West/Mini Schnauzer, JiLL and her brother, Racicot.
When she's isn't writing one of the many stories planned for release, you'll find her sitting court-side during either daughter's basketball games.
Heidi's first novel, Forever My Girl, will be in theaters on October 27, 2017, starring Alex Roe and Jessica Rothe.
Mimi has slayed her dragons…or some of them. Fresh out of rehab, she finds James and realizes that their relationship is over. Justin’s support has never wavered, and he offers her the lifeline of caring for his infant, Sammy.
Sammy’s mother’s vindictiveness is as steadfast toward Mimi as Justin’s loyalty. Even though Justin has put Delia in his past, she continues her attempts to undermine Mimi’s relationship with Sammy and Justin. Mimi’s heart breaks as she realizes that her past threatens every hope she has for a breathtaking future.
I am a native Angeleno, specifically an original valley girl. (Cue Frank Zappa music). I am a self-professed bibliophile, with a Kindle library larger than Imelda Marcos' closet. I have also been writing since I was old enough to form letters when someone shoved a crayon into my tiny little fist as a toddler. Those letters eventually became sentences, and those sentences eventually turned into stories. It took a long time before I was able to turn those stories into something I felt was worthy of sharing with the world, but finally here we are. I hope that you agree.
As for the rest of me, I'm a 40-something (no, I'm not going to tell you how many somethings follow the 40) mother of three who has been married to my husband for 14 years. We live in a small enclave just north of Los Angeles with my aunt, who is also an author.
Shattered Perfection is my debut novel. The original draft was written over a three week period in October/November 2014. It "marinated" on my hard drive until February 2015, when a good friend and fellow author begged to read it. I was completely against the idea, but being the persuasive and amazingly handsome fellow he is, he was impossible to resist.
After far less rewriting and editing than I imagined would be necessary, I am now able to share with you a story that I hope will make you laugh, cry and ultimately feel as though you have loved right along with Mimi and Vance.

Title: Chaos and Control
Author: Season Vining
Release Date: December 11th
When Wren Hart returns to her sleepy little Midwest town after years on the road, she finds the last thing she’d ever expect—a reason to stay. And that reason has a hard body, a knowledge of vinyl, and a crooked smile that sends her reeling.
Preston is a gorgeous, mysterious man, whose life is ruled by routine and order. Yet somehow, he finds Wren and her wild ways captivating. While their relationship grows in a delicate dance of chaos and control, the danger Wren thought she'd left behind during her travels is inching ever closer…and just may destroy them both.
The best way to get over someone is to get under someone else. And I have the perfect candidate all picked out.
My new assistant is tempting beyond belief with her curvy body and take-no-shit attitude. All those luscious curves, and a juicy ass I’m already in love with. God, the things that I would do to that ass…
But it’s the haunted look in her eyes that speaks to me. Like she’s taken just as much shit in her past as I have—maybe more. We both deserve a little fun.
Love can’t fix everything. Mind-blowing sex and a few killer orgasms, on the other hand?
Forgetting them was near impossible, but choosing one was harder.
Declan had kept his secret for so long; its revelation could destroy his family. Being gay wasn’t it. The truth was far worse—he’d fallen for his stepbrother, Ollie.
Returning home for the holidays wasn’t something he did very often, but his mom insisted on it that year. His trip home didn’t turn out as he expected; Declan’s world was flipped on its head by a sexy stranger. On a night out, his hookup flipped Declan’s world on its head. Now he was torn, unable to get Batman out of his head and Ollie out of his heart.
Note: this story was originally published in the Tempting Scrooge anthology, but has been substantially revised, reedited and additional content added.
